The Hugh N. Boyd Journalism Diversity Workshop at Rutgers University inspires a diverse group of talented high school students to pursue careers in journalism, encourage them to pursue a course of study that will prepare them for these goals, and develop and improve skills in writing and editing (text and video production) as well as the digital skills necessary for the type of multimedia journalism now considered standard in the media world.

Students covered a number of issues dealing with stress and mental health of teens. They presented their findings at a community forum at the close of the workshop.
