The Dow Jones News Fund recognizes college educators need training to equip students for challenges and changes in the media, especially in the area of digital media skills. The Fund offered seminars at the University of Texas at El Paso and Western Kentucky University for a week. The results were several projects by the professors that challenged them to use social media, video and audio to enhance their reports.
